To keep you safe from scam callers impersonating tech support, we only ever set up a remote session after you've spoken to one of our technicians directly by phone or through the chat on this site. They'll confirm exactly what to download and stay with you while you connect.

Download the remote support app
Once a technician has confirmed a session with you, download the app for your computer below. It'll show a 9-digit ID on screen — read that back to your technician and accept the connection prompt when it appears.
A note on scam tech support calls
PC Workshop will never cold-call you asking you to install remote access software or make a payment. If you weren't expecting a call from us, hang up and phone the workshop directly on 0191 285 9999 to check.
